1. Grant to the spouse of a Member (where the status as a “spouse” is determined by reference to Illinois law (as applicable) or Missouri law (for all other residents)) the right to vote on Club matters in place of such Member;
2. Grant to the spouse of a Member the opportunity to serve, under certain circumstances, on the Board of Governors, the Audit Committee, the Finance Committee, the Governance Committee, the Membership Committee, the Planning Committee, any task force, sub-committee, or sub-group of the foregoing, or any other leadership group of the Club subject only to the following limitations:
   • No such spouse may serve on such a committee simultaneously with such spouse’s corresponding Member;
   • No such spouse may serve on the Nominating Sub-Committee simultaneously with such spouse’s corresponding Member; and
   • No such spouse may serve on the Board of Governors simultaneously while such spouse’s corresponding Member serves on (i) the Audit Committee or (ii) the Nominating Sub-Committee;
3. Clarify the membership class for which the Member and her/his spouse are responsible at any time when such spouse is serving on the Board of Governors, one or more certain Committees, and/or the Nominating Sub-Committee; and
4. Discuss certain matters related to any divorce between any such spouse and a corresponding Member.

1. Logging onto the Member Website and clicking on the link “September 2019 Bylaws Amendments” in the Documents section (pvtmember-documents), or
2. By reviewing a hard copy of the redlined Bylaws amendments, which hard copy may be obtained at the front desk of either clubhouse.

Timeline: Electronic voting will commence on Monday, September 23, 2019 and will end at 12 p.m. on Monday, September 30, 2019.

 Voting options:

1. Electronically, by logging on to the Member website. There you will be able to click on the amendment, then vote by clicking the box next to Yes or No.  
2. Paper ballot, by requesting a ballot at the front desk of either clubhouse. Complete the ballot, then place the ballot in the ballot box. All paper ballots must be returned prior to 12 p.m. on Monday, September 30 to be counted.
