This year, we’re celebrating 20 years of Enterprise University, the business training course series presented by Enterprise Bank & Trust.
When we established the program in 2003, we created the program to provide no-cost training courses for business leaders and their teams in St. Louis. More than 150 people showed up for the first class, and we soon realized that we had tapped into a need among the business community. At that moment, we knew we were filling a need that our local business community craved: real-word business knowledge, actionable takeaways and an opportunity to connect with like-minded leaders who are driven to better their business — just like you.
The program has always been one-of-a-kind, but since then it has grown and evolved to now offer a lineup of more than 30 virtual, 90-minute live courses on a biannual basis. In its 20-year history, Enterprise University has welcomed more than 33,000 course registrants, representing business professionals across the country who return year after year to continue learning new skills.
Enterprise University courses cover management and leadership, finance, human resources, sales and marketing, and other trending topics that address current business challenges. There is a course for everyone, from the CEO looking for new perspectives as she revisits her strategic plan, to the manager who wants to strengthen their team and improve efficiencies, to the young professional who wants to build a strong foundation and find ways to contribute more to his team.
The spring semester course lineup was just announced, and registration is now open! More than 30 courses will be offered by the time our semester concludes on May 16. The classes are taught by experts in their field who offer strategies and ideas that teams can implement right away to stay ahead in a competitive environment.
Here is a preview of courses coming up this Spring:
Building and Developing a Successful Sales Team
All Aboard! Governance and Fundraising Best Practices for Board Leadership
Beyond Cost Segregation: Accelerated Depreciation and Expensing Strategies
You Don’t Have to Do It Alone: Resources for Minority-Owned Businesses

In addition to signing up for courses that help you bring your business to the next level, many business owners incorporate Enterprise University as part of their talent development programs to help develop employees. The classes can be a great way for you to offer no-cost professional development opportunities to your team, as workforce development and retention are more important than ever.
