Sent to All MAC Employees May 13
Missouri Athletic Club is taking suggestions and recommendations from the CDC, state and local governance, and other athletic/social clubs regarding how to safely re-open the club. Moving forward for the foreseeable future, we ask that masks be worn at all times when interacting with team members, members and guests while you are unable to remain more than 6 feet apart. Masks will be provided by the club. You are responsible for cleaning/replacing your mask daily. We may begin implementing temperature checks on entry into the building. According to CDC guidelines, employees’ with temperature reads above 100.4 will be sent home. The employee must be fever-free for three (3) consecutive days without medication before returning to work.
Expectations:
-
Disinfect work area each day when you arrive and again at the end of your shift before you leave
-
Wear a mask at all times when interacting with others and unable to social distance 6 feet
-
Wash hands often for at least 20 seconds or utilize hand sanitizer stations set up throughout the club, especially after blowing nose, coughing, sneezing, after using restroom, before and after eating
-
Do not touch your face
-
Grooming and hygiene should be high priority to keep you, team members, and members safe. Clothing/uniforms should be laundered after each wear.
-
Avoid shaking hands or any other physical greeting.
-
Do not use co-worker’s desks, phones, offices, or other work tools and equipment
-
Before and after using the finger scanner to clock in/out, disinfect your hands. If you are waiting for someone to clock in/out, allow 6 feet of distance between you and your co-workers.
-
You may be asked to complete a confidential Covid-19 assessment questionnaire when you report to work.
*Please note that your department may have more specific procedures, policies and personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements in place to keep employees and members safe.
If you are experiencing symptoms of COVID-19 (fever, cough, trouble breathing, etc…) please report it immediately to your manager. An employee with known or suspected COVID-19 must follow Centers for Disease Control and Prevention guidelines to self-isolate for at least seven (7) days after symptom onset and end isolation only after symptoms have improved and the employee has been fever-free and/or symptom-free for three (3) consecutive days without medication before returning to work. Recommendations made by medical professional will also be considered. Employee will be required to provide documentation from medical professional furnishing test results. This will also be required when test results are negative in order for an employee, who was advised to quarantine by medical professional, to return to work.
If an employee tests positive for COVID-19, contact your supervisor immediately so next appropriate steps can be taken for safety of other employees and members. If feasible, we will conduct contact tracing.
Individuals who were in direct contact of an employee or member who has symptoms or tests positive may also be advised to quarantine.
*all situations will be looked at individually to respond appropriately
