The Missouri Athletic Club is pleased to announce the selection of Scott Stutz as the MAC’s next Tennis Director.
Stutz begins his new position in mid-October alongside Kim Steinmetz, who will be retiring at the end of 2022. Steinmetz will remain part of the tennis program as she continues to serve her long-time lessons.
Stutz, who has been part of the MAC tennis program for 24 years, grew up in New England. He won a Connecticut high school title and then played Division I tennis at Central Connecticut State University. After college, Stutz competed at the professional level in Satellite events, taught with Tennis Unlimited and was the “Learn to Play” Director at the Little Rock Racquet Club.
He has enjoyed working with many Members over the years and is proud to have helped develop several of St. Louis’ elite junior players, who have achieved top national rankings and held successful college careers.
Stutz said, “The MAC has a strong and vibrant program. I am honored to have been selected to be the next Tennis Director and look forward to working with the Members to continue to increase the program’s value.”
